Breathing into the sex chakra inspires a fluid dance, it is like water, sensual and flowing, adaptable, moving and changing. It is in the sex chakra we explore the essence of tantra. In the sex chakra we enter into the watery realm of our emotions and our sexuality. Here we focus on sensuality and pleasure. We explore our deeper issues around our sexuality and reflect on how we go after what we want and our shame or doubt around getting it. The energy of the second chakra is experienced through letting go, flowing, moving, and feeling. When the sex chakra is balanced our sexual desire is aligned with love, we master our emotions and we are passionate and creative. When we are energizing the sex chakra with our breath and our dance we are rejuvenating our sexual and reproductive organs bringing balance to the bladder and the water systems of the body. The sex chakra is located four fingers below the navel.
